Our provider has informed us this maintenance has been extended to 8AM to allow splicers more time to restore services. We will continue to follow up with them through the maintenance window.

Beginning around 08/13/2025 22:20:03 CDT the WiscNet NOC received alarms indicating an event impacting a fiber span on the WiscNet backbone which may be impacting services to your location.

The NOC has confirmed the span is down at this time. We have engaged our partner provider for investigation, and have been informed that this event is due to a 3rd party provider conducting maintenance which has exceeded the original scope of work.

The NOC has not been previously notified of this work, and is pending further details and an ETR at this time.

As additional information becomes available, we will update accordingly.
