AWS service disruptions in the me-central-1 region caused a major outage affecting Wiz's core components including Authentication, Portal, Ingestion, Wiz Defend, Sensor, Wiz CLI, and Wiz Code for 36.6 hours. The AWS impact expanded to include additional availability zones and core services during the incident. The issue was resolved once AWS restored their affected services, with Wiz's team working internally to minimize disruption and restore platform functionality where possible during the outage.
The issue will be fully resolved once AWS restores the affected services in the region. We are actively monitoring the situation and closely tracking AWS status updates.
