3:30 AM PDT We are investigating increased error rates for new launches that uses EBS Encryption from an unencrypted AMI in a single Availability Zone (apse1-az1) in the AP-SOUTHEAST-1 Region. For a small number of volumes in the Availability Zone, increased EBS I/O latencies may also be experienced. Existing instances are not affected, and no other launch requests are affected. We have identified the root cause and are working towards recovery.
