Current status: Microsoft has determined that re-applying the updated build on a limited scale has not resulted in service recovery as expected. Microsoft is investigating this outcome and focused on alternate mitigation options to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.



Scope of impact: Impact is specific to users who are attempting to access their Exchange Online mailbox using Outlook on the web. While this issue could affect users hosted in multiple regions worldwide, Microsoft's telemetry indicates that impact is being experienced primarily to users hosted in North America.

Preliminary root cause: Microsoft suspects that a configuration issue within a recent service build is causing impact.
