Fiber circuits have been repaired and connectivity restored. All network services appear to be functioning as normal. IS&T will continue to monitor for the next 24 hours.
IS&T has confirmed that fiber circuit damage occurred as a result of construction that was being conducted in the area. Fiber repair teams have been dispatched to asses the damage.
The circuits connecting E60 and E62 to MITnet are both currently down affecting VoIP, Wi-Fi, and wired network communication.
