Dear Motive Customer, We are currently experience a disruption in service of our Web Dashboard and APIs, also partially affecting certain mobile functionality, such as uploading of logs from the Driver App. Our teams are currently investigating and resolving, and we will continue to provide updates as soon as possible. We expect to be fully operational within the next 30 minutes. Thank you for your patience and we sincerely apologize for the disruption today.

Dear Motive Customer,

All of our systems and products are again available and fully performant as of 9:37 AM PT. There were intermittent service and slowness issues in the time prior that are now resolved. Events during the time period since 7:23 AM PT may be delayed in having notifications sent or appearing in reports, but all new alerts are being processed in real-time, and we expect all events from that timeframe to be processed within the next 30 minutes.

A faulty new feature rollout unfortunately wreaked havoc on our web server systems, that was able to ripple throughout the platform while reverting the feature release and recovering. Our teams have been implementing "circuit breakers" to safeguard against such instances, but have not yet covered all areas of the platform, of which this affected. We will be directing more efforts toward these safeguards and other system hardening to isolate potential issues and speed our recoveries in these scenarios, with the highest priority in our engineering teams.

We are dreadfully sorry for the disruption this morning and will be following up with progress on the reliability of our systems that you can depend on.
