MAP Growth testing issue - Chrome OS and browser

This issue has been resolved and all partners should be able to successfully administer MAP Growth tests.

NWEA engineers successfully implemented a solution on the evening of Thursday 4/20/23 and internal quality assurance testing indicates that the issue is resolved. We will continue to monitor this situation to ensure that all partners are able to complete MAP Growth tests. We will update this page once we have final confirmation that this issue is fully resolved.

NWEA engineers will implement a potential solution on the evening of Thursday 4/20/23. We will provide an update by 2PM EDT on Friday 4/21/23 to confirm this issue is resolved.

Some partners are reporting issues with MAP Growth while testing on Chrome OS 102 or in Chrome browser version 102. Students experiencing the issue are seeing a message that their browser or OS is not supported and are unable to complete a MAP Growth test. NWEA is investigating this issue to identify a root cause. Updating your Chromebook or Chrome browser to a newer version may resolve this issue. We will update this page as more information becomes available.
