The team remains engaged and continues to investigate the issue and it’s triggers. The rolling restart is completed and the team is currently validating the performance levels. Initial reports indicate positive outcomes.

After further review and analysis, the team confirmed that the impact started at 23:00 UTC on November 6, 2022. This incident is a recurrence of the issue that occurred earlier in the day.
The team continues to perform the rolling restart to address the issue.

Upon investigation, the team determined a potential issue with the Mail Transfer Agent hosts. In an attempt to resolve the issue, the team is performing a rolling restart of the Mail Transfer Agent hosts. We are closely monitoring the situation.

The Salesforce Technology team noted a feature degradation impacting the Mail Services across multiple Hyperforce instances within the Japan region. During this degradation, users can experience issues while connecting to their mail server preventing outbound email sends. We are currently investigating the issue and working on multiple paths to resolution.
