We're currently investigating an issue where some Square accounts are unable to take payments with Square Reader and are instead seeing an error message stating that the card cannot be accepted.

We're currently investigating an issue where some new Square accounts are unable to take payments with Square Reader. This appears to only be impacting recently created accounts that have not previously taken card payments with a Square Reader.
