Stores - Randomly having stores not opening for end consumers

Dears,

Please be aware that the problem has been resolved, and our stores are now functioning smoothly. The Cloudflare IP that was affected has been unblocked by saip.gov.sa, and traffic is being routed correctly. We appreciate your understanding.

After days of investigation we have reached to a conclusion. The incident is related to an Cloudflare IP address that has been blocked by saip.gov.sa and as a result of this it was randomly affecting those end consumers that were being routed by Cloudflare to this IP and as a result not showing the store page. We strongly believe that the traffic from this IP was not big however some customers might have been affected. We are now in conversations with both Cloudflare to prevent this IP from being used and also have reported the removal of this IP from the saip.gov.sa and whitelist it to go back to normal. We will update further regarding the issue.

بحسب ما وردنا بأن البعض من عملائكم يواجهون مشكلة في الدخول لمتجركم في زد، ونؤكد لكم بأن فريقنا التقني قائم على التحقق من المشكلة، ويتضح لنا بأن المشكلة تحدث بسبب مشكلة لدى شريكنا Cloudflare. ونفيدكم بأننا على تواصل مكثف معهم خلال ال 4 ايام السابقة وأكدوا انهم قائمون على حل المشكلة.

وبحسب التحقيقات ايضاً يتضح بأن المشكلة تحدث بشكل عشوائي ونعتقد أنها تؤثر على جزء صغير من العملاء النهائيين (حوالي 5%) مما يشير إلى أن هذا قد يكون ناتجًا عن مشكلة في توجيه الشبكة في Cloudflare.

نعمل جاهدين على حل المشكلة ونحث شريكنا Cloudflare على البحث عن السبب الجذري في أقرب وقت ممكن. ونؤكد بأننا
كل من منصة زد وشريكنا Cloudflare ملتزمين ببذل قصارى جهدنا لحل هذه المشكلة بأسرع وقت ممكن.

We understand that some of your customers have been sharing the inability to access some of the stores in Zid. We reassure you that the team is working on it and we can confirm that we believe it is related to our partner Cloudflare. We have been in connection with them for the past 4 days and they are investigating the issue.

The issue is happening randomly and we believe it is affecting a small portion of your customers(around 5%), which leads us to believe that this might be an issue with networking routing in Cloudflare.

We are working to solve this problem and pushing our partner Cloudflare to find the root cause ASAP.

Both Zid and Cloudflare are looking into the issues to fix it asap.
