AnyDesk experienced a major outage affecting customers in Taiwan and Hong Kong due to networking issues with an upstream provider, lasting approximately 189.6 hours. To mitigate the impact, engineers rerouted affected customers to infrastructure in Japan while working on a permanent fix. The incident was resolved when customers in Taiwan and Hong Kong were successfully routed back to their original zone.

Due to networking issues associated with one of our upstream providers, to reduce customer impact we will be re-routing customers from Taiwan and Hong Kong to our infrastructure in Japan.
We are currently facing degraded performance in our Asia zone, specifically Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Engineers are investigating and a further update will be provided once a root cause has been identified.
