Outage Details

Between 2023-06-07 08:04 UTC and 2023-06-15 01:34 UTC some of new installations of Forge apps were not receiving license activation after installation. In results apps were not working as expected - the license was not active. The bug was active only on subset of customer sites (due to internal implementation detail). The bug causing this behavior was identified and fixed and no new installations should be affected since 2023-06-15 02:34 UTC. The apps which did not get license during installations remain in this state unless customer has taken manual action to correct this. Atlassian is working on remediation of remaining impact by re-activating the license for apps which were expected to get the license during installation. While this work is ongoing the customers are able to use workaround to correct the situation - by using "subscribe" option in the site app administration view: 1. Form Apps menu select "Manage your apps" 2. Find the app on list 3. Click "Subscribe" button Next update will be posted around 2023-06-16 15:00 UTC.

We have successfully fixed the remaining affected installations. This incident is now fully resolved.

We have applied mitigation steps to recover affected app installations. The majority of affected installations are now fixed. We are investigating remaining few installations that reported error during mitigation steps.
