UPDATE about 1 year ago - at 07/07/2023 09:53AM

We are continuing to work to resolve longer than usual propagation times for changes to CloudFront configurations. The sub-system responsible for routing requests to the correct edge locations is experiencing an issue which ultimately led to a delay in change propagation and latency. Engineers have been working to mitigate the issue within the affected sub-system. We have taken initial mitigation actions, which has resolved the elevated latency for end-user requests being served from a subset of edge locations in Japan. End-user requests for content from our edge locations are not affected by this issue and are being served normally. We will continue to provide further updates as we make progress towards full recovery.

UPDATE about 1 year ago - at 07/07/2023 09:14AM

We can confirm longer than usual propagation times for changes to CloudFront configurations. We are also observing elevated latency for end-user requests being served from a subset of edge locations in Japan. We have identified the root cause, and are actively working to resolve this issue. End user requests from other locations are not affected and are being served normally. We will continue to provide regular updates.
