Outage in Microsoft Azure

ACTIVE – DNS Resolution Issues for Azure Domains via OpenDNS

Resolved Minor
December 30, 2025 - Started 21 days ago - Lasted 39 minutes

Incident Report

Customers using OpenDNS are experiencing DNS resolution failures when accessing portal.azure.com and other Azure services. This has been identified as an issue with an external DNS provider, and we are currently seeing signs of recovery. As a workaround, using an alternate DNS resolver may restore connectivity. Impact start time: 12:23 UTC, 30 December 2025. Impacted region: Global. Our Engineering teams continue to investigate. We will provide updates as the situation evolves.
