TradingView Stock Widget Security Event

We have been notified of a security vulnerability regarding a TradingView widget utilized within our template stock blocks. This third-party widget has been observed displaying unauthorized and fraudulent advertisements that impersonate legitimate trading platforms and promote deceptive Forex or CFD investments.

To ensure the security and integrity of our services, BLOX Digital developers are actively working to temporarily disable the affected blocks. These features will remain offline until TradingView has fully resolved the issue.

Status Update: Following a comprehensive review with our security vendor, we have confirmed that the initial alert was a false positive triggered by an automated scan.

While there is no active threat, we are maintaining an abundance of caution to protect our clients' sites. BLOX Digital developers are currently in the process of temporarily disabling the stock widgets. This proactive measure will prevent automated search crawlers (such as Google) from misflagging associated sites, thereby avoiding any unnecessary service interruptions.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will restore full widget functionality as soon as it is entirely safe to do so.

Flex Templates version 3.274.1 will be deployed out-of-band today at 3:30 PM CST to temporarily disable all stock blocks utilizing TradingView widgets as a precautionary measure, with no additional changes or features included in this release.

The software deployment completed successfully. We are actively monitoring the release and will restore full widget functionality once stability is verified.

Flex Templates version 3.274.1 will be rolled back today at 2:00PM CST to restore all stock blocks utilizing TradingView widgets.
