On Monday 6.19.23 starting at 8:00 AM UTC we had intermittent connection issues across our Canadian server.
These issues occureed when the instance performed it’s daily task of refreshing it’s application pool. Upon startup we suspect some of the application pool threads were in a bad state and were unable to service the incoming requests properly. Our monitoring tools did not alert us because it was only specific threads that were in a bad state and upon retry the monitoring scripts would receive valid responses.
During the course of the incident all services were operating at a degraded state for users on the Canadian server. Around 3:00 PM UTC we fully resolved the connection issues.
