Bunny.net experienced an issue where newly created CDN accelerated DNS records resulted in 502 errors for affected domains, lasting 26.6 hours. The problem was caused by a backend process discrepancy that created zone ID mismatches on new CDN accelerated zones, while existing pull zones and previously created CDN accelerated zones remained unaffected. The incident was resolved with a hotfix deployment and processing of the accumulated backlog of pending updates.
