Checkout redirect not working

We experienced a certificate expiration issue on our gcheck.carthook.com domain/checkpoint which was going on for 20 minutes. This checkpoint is used to verify if our systems are operational and gives the go-ahead for our tag funnels redirect from Shopify’s cart page to our checkout.
Due to the expired certificate, we stopped redirecting and shoppers were taken to Shopify's checkout page.
The issue is fixed and all precautions to prevent another occurrence have been made.
