We have found a relation between recent VPN issues and scheduled reports.
In some cases, generating a report can cause VPN issues similar to what is described in the SK: https://supportcenter.us.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk180117
For gateways that have experienced VPN issues please follow the procedure in the sk.
There are no monthly reports sent for Nov 1st since this morning.
The report servers are currently down in SMP - Impacting only eu-1.spark-management.checkpoint.com.
Report services will be resumed after testing and verification.
After resuming the service, report generation can be triggered manually from SMP portal for gateways with public IP address - gateways view -> actions -> send monthly report.
Another option for gateways running firmware R80.20.40+ - on plan/gateway -> Services -> Reports -> Change the date for the scheduled monthly report
With IsDown, you can monitor all your critical services' official status pages from one centralized dashboard and receive instant alerts the moment an outage is detected. Say goodbye to constantly checking multiple sites for updates and stay ahead of outages with IsDown.
