Possible Issues with 2FA

We are investigating an issue with 2FA that might be impacting the Edgio Streaming Service. Edgio Engineers are actively investigating customer impact, affected services, and remediation steps. Next expected update: 20-30 minutes or as new information becomes available.

We are investigating an issue with 2FA utilizing SMS that might be impacting the Edgio Streaming Service. There currently appears to be ongoing issues with the upstream SMS provider Edgio Engineers are actively investigating and remediation steps. In the interim, for accessing the CMS system, we advise utilizing the "Trouble signing in" link on the CMS login page. This link will prompt for the users login email which will send a direct link to the users email if they exist in the system. This method will not prompt for two factor authentication. We will provide further updates as new information becomes available.

We are investigating an issue with 2FA utilizing SMS that might be impacting login to the Uplynk Service Content Management System (CMS). Streaming services are not impacted. There currently appears to be an ongoing upstream SMS provider issue that is affecting SMS delivery. In the interim, until the upstream issue is resolved, for customers that utilize 2FA via SMS for accessing the CMS system, we advise utilizing the "Trouble signing in" link on the CMS login page. This link will prompt for the users login email which will send a direct link to the users email if they exist in the system. This method will not prompt for two factor authentication. We are continuing to investigate the issue with 2FA utilizing SMS that might be impacting login to the Uplynk Service Content Management System and other identity services (CMS). Streaming services are not impacted. There currently appears to be an ongoing upstream SMS provider issue that is affecting SMS delivery.

In the interim, until the upstream issue is resolved, for customers that utilize 2FA via SMS for accessing the CMS system, we advise the following workaround steps:

1) Clear your browser cache or us an incognito window.
2) Second, go to the cms.uplynk.com login site which is the sign in site to CMS Uplynk/Sign in with IDS. Right below and to the right there is a "Trouble signing in?: option.
3) Select that and enter your CMS login email. This will prompt a message stating "We can email you a magic link to sign-in password-free!" Go ahead and do so.
4)Check your inbox for an alert email with the header of Uplynk Streaming Authentication Magic Link and click on the Authentication link provided. This Magic link will drop you straight into your CMS account.

This is the Profile and Security site which will allow you to manage your account.

By Selecting the Authenticator App option, it will allow you to use a TOTP-compatible authenticator app to get verification codes straight from your mobile device and not have to rely on a third-party SMS code submittal.

Google Auth, Microsoft Auth or such will work for this purpose and secure your account with Multi-factor authentication. Lastly, when selecting and enabling the Authenticator App, this will generate a Scan barcode or enter the key manually into the TOTP-compatible authenticator app on your phone.

Engineers have made a configuration change in SMS delivery service. Since this time, our internal tools are indicating 100% delivery rate. Users should begin to experience normal performance.
