Runbook Failure on PaaS Portal actions

Impact Statement: We have been identified as a customer using Azure Automation in West Europe who may experience some calls failed with internal server error, delays with automation jobs (including update management jobs), invoked from Resource Provider and Webhooks, and scheduled jobs.
Current Status: Our partner has determined that these errors are due to high resource consumption on some backend systems.

Investigation into this issue continues. A mitigating workaround is in place and further impact is not expected. We will post an update once the fault has been Identified or additional information becomes available.

There is an ongoing issue with Azure Automation that affects deployments. A fix has been implemented and we're monitoring the results. New deployments should work as expected, but previously started ones need to time out before they can be restarted.
