Please be advised that the latest McAfee WebAdvisor plugin solved this issue. Please download this latest version from the Chrome Web Store to resolve this issue in Exact Online.

The issue is caused by an update in the McAfee WebAdvisor extension in Google Chrome. You can resolve this issue by disabling the browser plugin or using a different internet browser.

You can disable a browser plugin by [clicking the menu icon at the top right of the browser window > choose "Extensions" > Manage Extensions]. Uncheck "Enabled" to disable an extension, or click "Remove" to delete it completely.

Alternatively, you could add Exact Online to your "trusted list" in the McAfee extension to prevent this extension from blocking Exact Online. Do this by following these steps:
1. Open your browser and click on the three dots in the top right corner
2. Select [More Tools] and then click on [Extensions]
3. Find the McAfee WebAdvisor extension and click on [Options]
4. Click on the [Trusted Sites] tab and enter your Exact Online URL in the text box
5. Click on [Add] to add the URL to the trusted list.

The issue only occurs in Google Chrome. For now, you can use another internet browser as a temporary workaround. In the meantime, we are still working on a solution. As soon as there is more information available, we will update this status page.

Data (including, but not limited to accounts, items, general ledger accounts and VAT codes) might not be accessible when creating entries. You will see 'no data' when typing the first letters/numbers in the corresponding fields in an entry or bank statement line. It might work to use the F2-button to select your data instead of typing the input. We are continuing to investigate this issue.
