Microsoft Defender incorrectly flagged Exclaimer's click-tracking analytics links as phishing, causing emails to be quarantined for customers using the Engagement Analytics feature across AU, US, and EU regions for approximately 14 days. Exclaimer engineers worked with Microsoft to update their detection system to stop misidentifying the analytics links, with the fix replicating across Microsoft 365 within 24 hours. After extended monitoring, the issue was confirmed resolved, and customers who had disabled click-tracking analytics were advised to re-enable the feature via the Exclaimer Cloud portal.
