Incident Report

We are currently experiencing issues with our PXE installer that prevent new installations and reinstallations of Linux KVM (Rootserver) systems. Our engineering team is working at full speed on a permanent solution. As part of this effort, we are migrating our provisioning process from PXE to Cloud-init, which requires several code changes and adjustments to our deployment pipeline. This transition will not only resolve the current issue but also provide a more reliable and modern installation workflow going forward. Estimated Resolution: We expect the migration to be fully completed by Friday, May 8th, 2026 at the latest. Linux KVM installations and reinstallations will be available again from that point onward. What this means for you: New installations and reinstallations of Linux KVM servers are temporarily unavailable Existing servers and services remain unaffected Customers who ordered a server that has not been installed should open a support ticket Compensation: Every affected customer will receive a runtime credit on their KVM server as compensation for the inconvenience. We will post further updates here as soon as we deploy the update. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
