Summary: Google Cloud Interconnect in Santiago, Chile is experiencing availability issues.
Description: We are experiencing an issue with physical connections in Google Cloud Interconnect in Santiago, Chile.
Multiple [Edge Availability Domains](https://cloud.google.com/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/concepts/choosing-colocation-facilities#south-america) scl-zone1-7594 and scl-zone2-7594 are affected.
Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue.
We will provide an update by Thursday, 2023-11-30 12:00 US/Pacific with current details.
Diagnosis: Customers using Cloud interconnect in Santiago, Chile may experience availability issues, being unable to access GCP services via scl-zone1-7594 and scl-zone2-7594.
Other GCP services in southamerica-west1 are not affected. The region should be accessible from interconnects outside of Santiago, Chile.
Workaround: 1.Customers who have availed a 99.9% up-time do not have a workaround.
2.Customers who have opted for a 99.99% up-time could fail-over to other regions.
