2023-04-18 update: This status post originally indicated that the Oregon, Virginia, Virginia-2, Virginia-3, and Virginia-4 cells would be affected. It has been updated to indicate that only the Oregon, Virginia-2, and Virginia-3 cells will be affected. You can find your connection’s cell by going to the connection’s Manage Connection page and finding the Cell Label value.

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, starting at 13:00 UTC, and continuing until 13:40 UTC (40 mins), Heroku will be performing a service update to Heroku Connect add-ons in the Oregon, Virginia-2, and Virginia-3 regions.

During this time, Heroku Connect syncing in the Oregon, Virginia-2, and Virginia-3 regions will be paused for approximately 10 minutes each. Additionally, creation of new Heroku Connect add-ons, and configuration changes to existing Heroku Connect add-ons, will not be available.

All changes made in your Salesforce organization and Heroku Postgres database during this service update will be synced once the service update for that region is complete.

Syncing will automatically resume where it was paused after the service update is complete. Heroku External Objects services will not be affected by the service update. Databases will remain available throughout the service update.
