AWS Regional Outage impacting Canvas, Qualtrics and other HUIT services

The extended outage to Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been resolved, and Canvas service has been restored. Other HUIT services affected by today’s outage are also fully restored.

Canvas is still unavailable and other HUIT services are experiencing performance issues due to an extended Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage. Although AWS has identified the root cause, they are still working to restore service.

We understand that this extended outage has been disruptive, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
