Network Impact Due to Flooding

New equipment has been installed at an alternate location, and network connectivity has been restored for the affected buildings. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the HUIT Service Desk at (617) 495-7777 or ithelp@harvard.edu.

Remediation continues. HUIT is investigating opportunities to install new network equipment at an alternative location to restore connectivity. We will provide an update when available.

Flood remediation is in process. We expect that HUIT will gain access to replace impacted equipment within the next hour. We will provide an update when available.

Due to a flood in a Smith Campus Center subbasement, network connectivity is unavailable in the following locations: Farkas Hall, Apley Court, 65 Mt Auburn, 65R Mt Auburn, 67 Mt Auburn, and HUPD Smith Substation. Network connectivity within the Smith Campus Center itself is not impacted. We are working with Harvard Facilities to restore service and will provide an update when available.
