Ethereum Holesky Peer-to-peer Network partial outage

This incident has been resolved.

We wanted to notify you that the Holesky Testnet will be deprecated on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Due to ongoing challenges with network instability and non-finalization, we are transitioning to the Hoodi Testnet, which will be available mid-April. The Hoodi Testnet will become the new standard for both testing and staking.
We kindly ask that you plan to update your configurations to the Hoodi Testnet prior to this date. Additional details and setup instructions will be provided shortly. Thank you for your attention to this transition.

The Holesky network has finalized, and our nodes are recovering. We are working to restore full capacity and functionality.

The Holesky Network has undergone the Pectra hardfork. The network is experiencing intermittent block finalization, and nodes are struggling with peering and block propagation. The result is that Holesky API service will show a chain that is intermittently stalled. Given Holesky is a testnet, please use Ethereum Sepolia until this issue resolves.

The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.

We are aware of a partial outage of some of our Holesky HTTPS JSON-RPC API Holesky WebSocket JSON-RPC API endpoints affecting a limited portion of our users. At the moment, the outage is limited to the listed components, which may be intermittently unavailable. We are currently investigating to pinpoint a root cause and remediate.
