Kaseya experienced a 26-hour major incident where Endpoint Backup v2 assets appeared offline in UniView across all regions, causing scheduled backups to fail, recovery points to become unavailable, and backup/restore/BMR operations to stop functioning. The R&D team identified the root cause, developed and tested a fix, then rolled out an updated agent version in batches to production. The incident was resolved when the fixed agent version restored all Endpoint Backup v2 services, allowing assets to report correctly and scheduled backups to resume at their next scheduled time.

The fixed agent version has been rolled out to production, and Endpoint Backup v2 services have been restored. Assets are reporting correctly in UniView, and backup, restore, BMR, and agent registration operations are functioning as expected. Scheduled backups have resumed and will run at their next scheduled time.
