[Norway][Telia] Inbound SMS Failures to Telia Short Codes via Google Messages

We would like to inform you that our engineering team, in close collaboration with the operator, has successfully identified the root cause of the issue affecting inbound SMS delivery to Telia short codes when using the Google Messages application.

A resolution has been proposed and is currently pending implementation by the operator. We are now awaiting its deployment on Telia’s end.

Issue: Inbound SMS traffic to Telia Short Codes when using Google Messages application fails.
As a workaround, please change messaging application to the native one to your phone, for example Samsung Messages.

Our engineers are actively investigating the issue and maintaining direct communication with the operator.
