Compare the status, incidents stats and history between Mailgun and SparkPost
Every service has different practices when updating its status page, so compare these stats with a grain of salt. E.g., one service can be more aggressive when updating its status page than other so that they will have more incidents, but it doesn't mean it is worse than the other.

We're currently seeing delayed logging events in the EU region with up to a 15-minute delay.
There is a delay in our events pipeline. This is causing metrics, events and webhooks to be delayed for a portion of data. Message sending is not effected.
Messages that have failed initial delivery and are in a delayed state are taking longer than expected to resend. Only messages injected via SMTP and in a delayed state are effected.
We are currently looking into a data delay. This is causing our metrics to be delayed. It is not effecting mail sending.
