Title: Some users may be unable to access the Microsoft Teams Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) gateway

User impact: Users may be unable to access the Microsoft Teams SIP gateway.

Current status: We've identified that a recent standard service update has inadvertently resulted in Session Border Controllers (SBCs) to become unresponsive, resulting in user devices being unable to access the SIP gateway. We've restored the affected SBCs and monitoring telemetry is showing signs of improvement. However, we've further identified the SBCs are encountering some unexpected database 403 errors which may be contributing to impact. We're reviewing database and SBC logs to understand the source of the 403 errors, in order to develop a remediation plan.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users hosted through the affected infrastructure in Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America.
