Title: Users may be unable to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices

User impact: Users may be unable to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices.

More info: All types of certified Android devices are affected, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams Rooms on Android. Sign in failures may occur for both user accounts and room accounts. This issue is prevalent with devices running Intune Company Portal build 5882 and impacts devices from all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Current status: The process of rolling out the firmware change containing the fix to OEMs is in its final stages. Once complete, we'll prepare the new firmware image for deployment to the affected service environment to remediate impact.

Scope of impact: This event may impact any users who attempt to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams Rooms on Android.

More info: All types of certified Android devices are affected, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams Rooms on Android. Sign in failures may occur for both user accounts and room accounts. This issue is prevalent with devices running Intune Company Portal build 5882 and impacts devices from all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Current status: The firmware changes roll out to OEMs for addressing the Intune Portal Build 5882 is proceeding as expected, and we'll continue to provide progress updates until it completes.

This issue is prevalent with devices running Intune Company Portal build 5882 and impacts devices from all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Current status: We've developed firmware changes to fix the issue and finished our initial validations. We're in the process of rolling out the firmware changes to the OEMs so they can build new firmware images and return it back to us for deployment to the affected environment. We expect the OEM process will take approximately two weeks. We'll provide an estimated deployment timeline as soon as possible.

Current status: We've determined an update for certified Android devices is causing the devices to sign out of Microsoft Teams. We're developing a fix to remediate the impact. As a precaution, we have removed downloads from the Microsoft Teams admin center for firmware that uses Intune Company Portal build 5882.
