More info: In Exchange Online, users may be unable to connect to their mailboxes through Outlook on the web, Messaging API (MAPI), Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Representational State Transfer (REST) API.
In Microsoft Teams, users may be unable to place outbound or receive inbound calls; and sending and receiving messages may be impacted.
Current status: We've identified through our internal monitoring and alerting systems that a network connectivity issue is occurring in the China region, resulting in impact to users' ability to utilize multiple features in Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams. We're investigating the source of the connectivity issue as we work to understand how impact manifests and formulate potential remediation strategies.
Scope of impact: This issue may affect any user in the China region attempting to access their mailboxes in Exchange Online or use calling and messaging features in Microsoft Teams.
