More info: Users may have experienced issues when attempting to access various Microsoft services including but not limited to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange/Outlook services.
Current status: We’ve narrowed down the cause of impact to a portion of our networking infrastructure which became degraded and subsequently unreachable. This further resulted in networking failures preventing Microsoft services from being accessible. Our automatic recovery system quickly failed over traffic to healthy infrastructure to mitigate impact. We are continuing our efforts to restore the impacted networking infrastructure and ensure impact does not reoccur.
Scope of impact: Any users served through the Australia region may be affected by this issue if attempting to access Microsoft services including Microsoft Teams. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.

We currently suspect that a networking failure may have contributed to the problem, resulting in customer impact.
