We have received reports that various websites and services are currently experiencing reliability issues. The OIT Networking and PAWS teams are investigating and suspect this to be a global-scale issue with a web host such as AWS. We will make updates as new information becomes available and at the end of the business day today (5:00PM AKDT).

Many services that were reported as impacted during this outage have been restored; we believe the issues may have been related to the US-EAST-1 incident that Amazon reported from 2:49 PM to 4:06 PM (https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status). We will be monitoring service stability until the beginning of the business day tomorrow.
