Azure has reported an ongoing service disruption affecting the West US 2 region, which is impacting On Demand services. Affected products: On Demand Migration On Demand Recovery Impact summary: 1.) On Demand Migration (all workloads) This outage affects all migration workloads, including Accounts, Email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and related services. The UI may be unreachable for affected organizations Migration jobs may fail, stall, or encounter unexpected errors 2.) On Demand Recovery (ODR) The UI may be unreachable for affected organizations Backup operations may fail or not complete successfully during the outage Next steps / recommendations: Monitor your migration and backup job history after service restoration Restart any failed or incomplete tasks as needed We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. Our cloud service provider has resolved the underlying issue. Below is a summary of how our services were affected during the outage.

1) On Demand Migration Accounts, Email, OneDrive, and Power BI
Some migration jobs may have failed or encountered unexpected errors during the outage period. We recommend reviewing your migration job history and restarting any affected tasks as needed.

2) On Demand Migration SharePoint, Desktop Update Agent, and Teams
All migration jobs continued to run normally and were not affected by the outage. You may see some transient error messages in the event log, but tasks will continue to completion without interruption.

3) On Demand Migration Active Directory
All running and scheduled workflows continued to operate normally and were not impacted by the outage.

4) On Demand Migration Domain Rewrite
The Domain Rewrite service remained fully operational throughout the outage. All email processing completed successfully.

5) Identity Recovery for Entra ID
Scheduled backups scheduled for 9:00 AM UTC were impacted during the outage. Subsequent scheduled backups starting at 3:00 PM UTC are running as expected.

Our cloud infrastructure provider is actively restoring services, and some services have already returned to operational status.

Our cloud services provider is currently experiencing an outage that is affecting our Migration and Recovery services in the US region. As a result, several operations are currently failing.
