Browser Extension Authentication Updates

Dear Clients, We recently updated our Browser Extension to authenticate with your Recorded Future username/password. We changed from API token authentication to username/password to improve security and simplify setup. Unfortunately, many users experienced issues after the update where they were repeatedly and unexpectedly logged out of the browser extension. We sincerely apologize for the impact on you. We understand that these issues have been frustrating and disruptive because you rely upon Recorded Future for your daily work. We have been working very hard to resolve the problems, and have rolled out stabilized versions of the extension for Chrome and Firefox. Most browsers will already have automatically updated to the new versions. This is currently necessary for security. We are continuing work to make authentication persistent when restarting Chrome, as it was before this change. We apologize again for the disruption caused by these changes. If these logout issues caused you to stop using the browser extension, we encourage you to try the updated versions. And, we will keep you informed on additional progress to make authentication fully persistent in Chrome, and deliver functional improvements to the browser extension.
