AWS EKS is experiencing a networking issue due to a bug in the latest Ubuntu AMI image and are actively working on a resolution. Redpanda Cloud is engaged and we are working to mitigate as well.

An update from one of our vendors has the potential to cause networking issues to Redpanda clusters in specific circumstances. A fix has been identified and is being rolled out to potentially affected clusters as a mitigating action.
There is no immediate impact to customer workloads.
