Incident Report

Sites may not be allowed or denied in line with the configuration of the policy that a user has applied to them.
Users may have your Default Policy applied to them when you expect a different policy to apply.
Users may have rules applied to them that you have not configured in your policies.
This is often noticeable when YouTube is blocked, but you expect it to be allowed.

To prevent this you should:
Ensure users are logged on to the browser during sign-in to the device.
Ensure users on Chromebooks use the Chrome browser.
Ensure users on Microsoft 365 use the Edge browser.
Ensure users who are prompted to sign-in to RM Unify do so straight away.
Ensure users who fail to sign-in to RM Unify when prompted, or appear to have unexpected filtering rules applied reboot their device and try again.

We have identified the root cause of the issue and are working on understanding what is required to apply a permanent fix, for now please follow the advice above.
