Performance issues with web app

This incident is resolved.

Root cause: the global outage of our cloud provider last week caused a massive backlog of work on our end, causing our primary database to slow down, resulting in slower response times and timeouts when retrieving data. To help drain the backlog and to handle this type of unforeseen event in the future, database resources were doubled.

The issue is related to slow database performance by our upstream provider causing data to load much slower than expected. We have an open ticket with our vendor and will report back as more information is known.

EVENTS OLDER THAN 5/24/2025 - When using Analysis or the Reports module, event searches that include data older than 5/24/2025 will produce a delayed response or fail to load. Events from 5/24/2025 and newer will be more responsive. SaaS Alerts is working with its upstream providers to evaluate the delayed response time and restore normal performance to all Analysis and Report queries. Continuous monitoring and response of fresh events is not impacted.

We have reports of some users experiencing slowness and failed pages loading within the SaaS Alerts web app. We will report back when more information is known.
