Outage Details

We identified an issue impacting customers in the UK who use HSBC group (HSBC Personal, first direct, M&S Bank, HSBC Business, HSBCnet). New accounts will not be able to onboard, and existing users will not receive the latest transactions from yesterday. Potential products/services affected: Sage Intacct Sage 50 Sage 200 SBC Accounting UKI Sage Accounting Individual We are still investigating the issue with our 3rd party provider, HSBC.

The issue is resolved. All services continue to perform as expected.

All customers who use HSBC group (HSBC Personal, first direct, M&S Bank, HSBC Business, HSBCnet) are now able to successfully onboard and re-authenticate. Avoiding a reoccurrence is our priority as we closely monitor the service.

We successfully implemented a fix to resolve sync issues and customers are now able to receive the latest transactions. New accounts can now be onboarded except for the two banks (HSBC Business and HSBCNet) which is under investigation by third party provider, HSBC.
As a workaround, customers should be able to onboard to Sage's Plaid connections for HSBC Business and HSBCnet however existing HSBC Business and HSBCnet Sage connections will not be able to onboard or reauthenticate. HSBC continues to investigate.
