There’s a Salesforce service performance degradation. Users can access the Salesforce service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. General and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues are possible. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

The team has confirmed that the instance is out of service disruption as of 12:02 UTC and the instance is currently experiencing symptoms of performance degradation while the backlog of queued workloads is being processed. We’ll provide an update in 15 minutes or sooner if more information becomes available.

The database failover has begun, and the instance has now entered a temporary state of service disruption. During a service disruption, customers will be unable to access or utilize Salesforce services. We expect this process to take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. An update will be provided in 15 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The Salesforce Technology team has determined that a database failover is required in order to bring the instance back to a healthy state. This workstream will result in the instance entering a state of service disruption for approximately 10-15 minutes.
