Outage Details

There’s a Salesforce service feature degradation. During a feature degradation, some features are unavailable or run at less than optimal performance. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

The Salesforce Technology team has engaged additional specialist teams to assist in their investigation. Engineers are currently pursuing a new path to mitigation following the failure of the restarts.

After reviewing additional diagnostic logs, we noted that few more instances are impacted as a result of this issue. Hence, we decided to update the trust page for those instances as well. Additionally, in our initial Trust post we included USA1, USA2S, USA3S and USA220 as impacted instances. However, after reviewing the logs, we noted that these instances are not impacted and hence will be removed from the list of impacted instances. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.

The team performed rolling restarts of the impacted services, however this did not resolve the issue. The Technology team continues to explore multiple paths to resolve the issue.

At 05:52 UTC, on May 24, 2023, the Salesforce Technology team was alerted via monitoring about the intermittent feature degradation impacting the enhanced automated scheduling and optimisation features within the field service. As a workaround, it is recommended that customers manually execute the field service operations. The Technology team is working on multiple paths to resolve the issue.
