The team continues to see improved performance. Monitoring indicates the instance has been out of impact since 21:12 UTC, however they continue with the application restarts to ensure the instance remains in a healthy state. We’ll provide an update in 60 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The Technology team initiated rolling restarts of the application servers beginning at 19:29 UTC and this mitigation effort is ongoing. The team is continuing to see improvements in performance as the application servers come back online. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The Technology team has determined that the instance has been experiencing a severe performance degradation that has hit thresholds into service disruption. They have taken action and seen performance improvements, however this will be classified as a service disruption due to the severe nature of the degradation.

The Salesforce Technology team has identified a potential trigger for the issue and is working on implementing a fix to resolve it. We don’t have an estimated time for the completion of all workstreams at this point; however, we will provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.
