The team has noted the errors have resurfaced again. Our team has successfully tested and validated the fix and is now getting approvals to deploy it to impacted production orgs to alleviate the impact. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The team identified an internal feature that was recently switched on that may be the trigger of the CPU spikes. The POD remains out of impact, however the team is working to toggle the feature off as a permanent fix. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The Salesforce Technology team has completed all required workstreams, including a restart of the cache service, which has shown positive results. Monitoring and validation of POD stability and performance levels have now begun.

At approximately 13:00 UTC on May 1, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team noted a performance degradation impacting Commerce Cloud POD 192. Customers may receive intermittent errors involving Open Commerce API (OCAPI) calls, resulting in performance issues with Cart and other Storefront functionality. The team has observed high database CPU correlating to the degradation and is working to identify the trigger.
