Outage Details

There’s a Salesforce service performance degradation. Users can access the Salesforce service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. General and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues are possible. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

At 07:20 UTC, on May 31, 2024, the reindexing process has completed on IND134 and is still in progress for IND136.

As a result of varied impact duration, we have decided to update the individual Trust status pages for IND134 instance to capture the most accurate impact times. Customers on this instance will no longer receive updates via this Trust post.

We will provide an update when there is a significant progress.

The Salesforce Technology team continues to undertake the reindexing of impacted instances. These activities are tracking as planned with performance improving on both instances as reindexing progresses. This may still take a number of hours to complete across both instances.

We will provide the next update upon completion of reindexing activities, or sooner if new information becomes available.

The Salesforce Technology team is continuing to reindex the impacted instances. This action is anticipated to take a few hours to complete.

At 12:25 UTC, on May 29, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team noted a performance degradation on IND134 and IND136. Customers in these instances may experience delays in search indexing. The team has identified the trigger and isolated the impact to orgs that were created in the last 24 hours. The team has reindexed one org and that has fixed the issue.

The team will now reindex the remaining orgs and it is expected to take several hours.

We’ll provide an update in two hours or sooner if additional information becomes available.

The Salesforce Technology team has identified a potential trigger for the issue and is working on implementing a fix to resolve it. We don’t have an estimated time for the completion of all workstreams at this point; however, we will provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.
