Feature Degradation

Metadata retrieval continues to be delayed and intermittently timing out for multiple sandbox environments. The Salesforce Technology team has identified the trigger for the issue and has published the following Known Issue article, which includes a potential workaround of using the Salesforce Classic user interface:

A fix has been developed and is now awaiting deployment on one instance (usa666s) when testing and monitoring will begin. Should testing be successful, this will be rolled out to additional instances outside of core business hours, as soon as possible.
