At 12:53 UTC our monitoring system indicated an elevated 5xx error rate on our API infrastructure. Due to a database issue, our services were partly unresponsive at 12:53 UTC and between 12:56 and 13:02 UTC. As the alarm went out, our 24/7 operations team started the recovery and all systems were operational by 13:02 UTC.
